Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to our blog. We are a small reo rua (bilingual) class of year 4-6 tamariki in Ōtautahi. Our blog is a way that we can share our learning with the world and it gives our tamariki an authentic audience. It is also a place for us to trial new and exciting technology. Making Matariki lanterns
We have been reusing tin cans and creating lanterns for Matariki. We had to make a design using a hammer and nail. Next step will be to make a wire handle and put a tea light candle inside. It has been heaps of fun learning how to use a hammer!
