Today we have discovered geo boards in our classroom. We have been working with the geometry strand this term and so the geo boards have been a fun hands on activity to show how much we have learnt about polygons and angles. The tamariki have also created screencastify posts to share what they have learnt.
Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to our blog. We are a small reo rua (bilingual) class of year 4-6 tamariki in Ōtautahi. Our blog is a way that we can share our learning with the world and it gives our tamariki an authentic audience. It is also a place for us to trial new and exciting technology. Please leave us a comment and follow us if you want to see more of what we are doing. Mauri ora

Nice article. Geoboard is a mathematical manipulative used to explore basic concepts in plane geometry. Here I observed how students are learnt about polygons and angles by using geometry. This is a useful blog. Thanks for sharing. Apart from this article, I learned interesting facts about syrian hamster which is a curious breed that requires a great deal of mental stimulation to keep it happy.
