Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to our blog. We are a small reo rua (bilingual) class of year 4-6 tamariki in Ōtautahi. Our blog is a way that we can share our learning with the world and it gives our tamariki an authentic audience. It is also a place for us to trial new and exciting technology. Please leave us a comment and follow us if you want to see more of what we are doing. Mauri ora

Hornby Primary School's Accident and Emergency.
We have been learning how to do impromptu drama this week. Each group is given a scenario and 5 minutes to create something to share back to the class.
This piece of drama follows a previous car accident in which patient Zion was hurt. Watch now as Doctor Yarnz, surgeon Mikaere and Doctor Ricci deal with the situation.

Grandparent's Visit
We were lucky enough to have lots of grandparents come to the afternoon tea today. They visited the playground and classrooms and we performed a few waiata. They had scones with jam and cream and cupcakes with tea and coffee. It was such a nice afternoon and great to see so many whānau there. Sharleze, Shontae, Ricci, Jacinda, Ashton, Chesea, Zion and Waisea all had their grandparents attend. Ka wani kē!
