Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to our blog. We are a small reo rua (bilingual) class of year 4-6 tamariki in Ōtautahi. Our blog is a way that we can share our learning with the world and it gives our tamariki an authentic audience. It is also a place for us to trial new and exciting technology. Please leave us a comment and follow us if you want to see more of what we are doing. Mauri ora

I love your blossom trees because there is lots of pink and I like lots of pink!
ReplyDeleteCan you please tell me how to do this because I would like to do this sort of thing in my class?
First we looked at some sakura blossom images and then we used a straw and some black ink to blow the branches. The next day we looked on youtube how to paint sakura flowers using a fine paint brush and two small blobs. Then we painted using pink acrylic paint and then put some white middles in the flowers. W weren't allowed to draw lines just do blobs. Starting at he the top of the branches and working down.
