In rūma toru we have been making selfie portraits with Whaea Taylor using multiple medias. We created our backgrounds using watercolours and then our faces with oil pastels.
After we finished we made padlet about things that challenged us, things that we learnt and things that we enjoyed about this process.

Hi Ruma Turu. It's Mikael from Yaldhurst. I like how you said what you are doing. And I like the photos you have, you are all really good at painting. Next time I think that you should say what a Whaea Taylor is.
ReplyDeleteHello Hornby your selfies look AWESOME!!! Your class is really creative. Next time you should put the class's names somewhere so that we know who did a selfie picture, I think that your class is going to do a lot of cool stuff in the future you should also go to my class's blog.

Hello Rumu Turu, my name is Parwin and I am a year 8 from Yaldhurst Model school! I really like your artworks that you guys did. We have done something similar to that we make like a pixel art thing. I think that maybe next time you should say why you did it. Like was it like because it was just something you had to do or did you get to pick that? How long did it take you guys to make a masterpiece? Keep the great work up!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your next posts,
Parwin
Hey there my name is Shay and I really like your idea of you all putting your self portraits on a phone I think that is very creative than normal most of the time people just do it on a piece of paper and I also love all the wonderful colours all around the wall on every single one of them. Maybe next time you could for your blog post add more information about what you all did and how good you think it looks
