Ata Aio kouotu
What a beautiful start to the day remembering our past and present people that fought in the wars. At 6am we gathered in our bubbles at the end of our driveways as we listened to Radio New Zealand broadcast a live stream of the Last post, the Ode, National Anthems and a short kōrero from Ron Marks. It was really nice and a warm morning too. After that we had pancakes cooked on the BBQ and at 9.30am there was an ANZAC karakia for our class and anyone else that wanted to join in with a sharing of some special ANZAC blog posts and a few waiata.
Here is a short movie of our google hangout.
